A Busy, Inspiring, and Rewarding October in Saja!
Nelly Alfandari, Adolescent Community Guide

October has been an action-packed month for our Saja students, filled with high academic focus, creative community initiatives, and memorable shared experiences. Academically, students successfully wrapped up their first learning units across all subjects and completed assessments to consolidate and celebrate their progress from the start of the term.

Beyond their studies, the class showed great initiative and teamwork by organising their very first latio. They prepared delicious apple pies, chocolate cookies, and fresh fruit kebabs for the school community, successfully raising funds for their class budget in the process.

Our learning was further enriched thanks to some of our wonderful Saja families, who led an inspiring activity for our Religious Education project on the Mexican cultural traditions surrounding the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), culminating in a beautiful collaborative altar built inside our classroom.

Finally, to round off a focused first half-term before a well-deserved holiday break, we enjoyed a fantastic class bonding trip to Montjuïc to relax, connect, and celebrate everyone’s hard work. Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support throughout the term, and we wish everyone a restful and enjoyable holiday!
